kdog_187 Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Can't figure out why but i tried 6times to download it in Firefox and every time the file would go missing in the download folder. I can say that I have never had an issue like this. The file would download fine too. But when i watch the file in the download folder of Firefox, i would see it go "file removed or missing". I see no alert in my Windows Security. I also tried by disabling the Security. But same issue. I then downloaded it via Microsoft Edge instead of Firefox and it downloaded fine. I just had to go in the download folder of Edge to select "keep" the file because it didn't trust it. So I am guessing that the issue was with Firefox deleting the file. Anyone else can test by downloading with Firefox this modpack to see if they get the same issue? I am using 131.0.3 64bit for Firefox browser. Like i said, never had this problem before with FF. I tried with download link #1 and #2. I didn't try with .torrent. Thanks. btw, i should add that i did download Aslains_WoT_Modpack_Installer_v.1.26.1.1_04.exe early Tuesday morning using FF and had no problems. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted October 19 Administrator Posted October 19 I canont help you with this, the issue is on your end only. And indeed it sounds like a false-positive, some browser running some simple internal security modules, usually connected to the windows defenfer service. It's most likely the cause, or any other anvir you have there. Quote
Darth_Clicker Posted October 19 Posted October 19 I am not normally a Firefox user, but I downloaded and installed the latest version for Windows 11, 64 bit of course, (131.0.3 ) and was able to download the modpack without a problem. I did not enable any of the extra things that Firefox offered. And, under "Browser Security", "Standard" was selected. Quote
kdog_187 Posted October 20 Author Posted October 20 ok, thanks guys. I just downloaded Aslains_WoT_Modpack_Installer_v.1.26.1.1_07.exe with FF and it downloaded just fine. There must've been something that my system detected with #06 that caused it to remove it. That was the first time i ever had such an issue so i don't know what might have triggered it. 1 Quote
