DADDO Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 With the last few updates, I cannot get the Ship Contour Icons, particularly MajorRenegade's Icons to work. I've even tried to remove the Aslains folders, including the cache within the WOW games folder, and reinstalled the mods, but nothing seems to work. Anyone have any suggestions??
Administrator Aslain Posted November 19, 2015 Administrator Posted November 19, 2015 Attach logs and tell more what happens.
DADDO Posted November 19, 2015 Author Posted November 19, 2015 I've attached an in game screenshot, as well as 2 log files (I'm not sure these are the ones you are looking for). I've also screenshotted the mod loader, so you could see what has been selected. hope this helps... Cleaner.log Informer.log
Administrator Aslain Posted November 20, 2015 Administrator Posted November 20, 2015 Are you installing to right folder? I have selected MajorRenegade v6 and I see them in battle so hard to tell more. As for logs, check my sig.
DADDO Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 I'm using the auto installer, so I'm not sure.
Grandorf Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 I'm using the auto installer, so I'm not sure. On some of the first "pages" it announces where youre gamefolder should be. And for logs, go to: C:\Games\World_of_Warships and attach (copy) into forumpost: _Aslain_logs.zip and python.log
DADDO Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) Everything is loading to the default folder (c:Games\World_of_Warships) I don't see a python.log _Aslain_logs.zip Edited November 20, 2015 by DADDO
Grandorf Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Hi Very strange. Maybe deleting everything containing mods and try downloading modpack again. Delete: res_mods content also everything that says Aslains in gamefolder.
DADDO Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 thanks. I have removed everything previously that says Aslains. I'll try that again, with the res_mods as well.
DADDO Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 Just as a follow-up -- I have even deleted the entire WOW game folder, and went thru a full reinstall, and it still isn't working. My guess is that there may be another mod that is interfering with this one.
Grandorf Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Ok Hang in there, Aslain will check it as soon as he can. http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/3270-how-to-report-a-bug-or-issue/

DADDO Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 Sorry, but I don't know where this is. Can you tell me where it is located?
DADDO Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 oops, never mind, I found the file (attached). I also included the preferences.xml file. paths.xml preferences.xml

Try em.
Administrator Aslain Posted November 22, 2015 Administrator Posted November 22, 2015 oops, never mind, I found the file (attached). I also included the preferences.xml file. Didnt find anything. I don't know why it's not running for you, I only know that my modpack 100% working so it must be your pc. Get someone to help you there localy maybe.
DADDO Posted November 22, 2015 Author Posted November 22, 2015 May I ask where exactly the files for this particular mod should be located? Maybe they aren't being copied there for some reason. I also tried the shark mod, and it isn't working either. maybe I can load them there manually?
Grandorf Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Hi Open preferences.xml in main folder and scroll down to this line: <battle> <minimapRotation> false </minimapRotation> -> <enableEars> false </enableEars> <------ <stickyAltView> false </stickyAltView> <minimapSizeIndex> 3 </minimapSizeIndex> Try change it to "true"
DADDO Posted November 22, 2015 Author Posted November 22, 2015 unfortunately, it already is showing true. However, should the stickyaltview show false? mine shows true.

DADDO Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 I've attached what my directory looks like -- I seem to be missing a couple of the directories you show.

DADDO Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 Maybe. Any idea what I need to do to allow it to come through??
Administrator Aslain Posted November 27, 2015 Administrator Posted November 27, 2015 Maybe. Any idea what I need to do to allow it to come through?? No clue, it's not my pc, I don't know what you installed, and how it's configured.
Grandorf Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 No clue, it's not my pc, I don't know what you installed, and how it's configured. Disable Antivirus while updating modpack and/or try a different browser (Firefox). What Windows do you use?
DADDO Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 just to close this out -- I've just upgraded from windows 8.1 to 10. This seems to have resolved the issue, since the mod now is working properly.
