Bug installation. Cannot connect to the server.

First I'm French so I don't speak English very well ^_^

I have a problem with the installation of Aslain's xvm WoT modpack, I choose my mods and when I want to instal them, it's searching connection and a message display :

Something on your computer is blocking installer functions. Check your firewall, antivir, routers...etc.

I have not solved the problem but I know I have a problem with Avast, it puts me an error message: The online glad is unavailable
Please, check your internet connection and try again.  <_< 
I have not solved this problem, I spent all afternoon and I have tried lots of solutions but none has fonctionned, if anyone has a solution I'm interested. :)

You should be able to temporarily disable Avast

 

Othervise uninstall Avast and try AVG.

Ok I will test tomorrow but I have also my skype does not connect either, so I think it's not my antivirus, but I will test. thank you. ;)

Seems more like a firewall issue as AV's rarely block connections

Hello !

I find a solution ! :P  that was just a problem with the proxy, when I restart my computer, it puts a default proxy, so I remove this on Firefox but in the control panel, the proxy is enable :D  so I remove this and now it works ! thank you for your help, good evening and happy new year. ;)
