XJadynX Posted August 12, 2016 Share Posted August 12, 2016 I can;t even get the mod packs to launch. I mean I click on it.. and it just hangs, and hangs and hangs. BADLY. I have to Cntrl Alt Delete to task manage it closed and then it blanks out my screen and it takes a few moments for it to recover. my task bar, Icons, Everything vanishes for a bit and eventually comes back. I wish I could attach some kind of file but nothing is even generated, this is happening to WoT AND WoW Quote Link to comment

Windows Defender (Antimalware Service Executable) goes into hyper overdrive mode as soon as I launch the .exe. This problem has been occuring since 9.15.1 mods, but never ever before. Aslain et. al. please look into what is flagging your software. Any chance something has snuck in? Don't want a ZombieSoft computer. Quote Link to comment

bubs79 Posted August 14, 2016 Share Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) the problem that happens when windows defender does this it start a maintenance scan . that is built into windows 8 and 10 meaning your pc/laptop gets groggy .it doesn't just scan the file it scans the whole computer my advice disable windows defender and put another program on , like malware bytes and avira Edited August 14, 2016 by bubs79 Quote Link to comment
