Battlenat0r Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 (edited) This doesn't work, tried only using this mod. Using other mod packs, it still won't show up in-game. This mod needs to be updated. Edited April 6, 2017 by Battlenat0r Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted April 6, 2017 Administrator Posted April 6, 2017 In logs this mod is not selected for installation. Quote
Battlenat0r Posted April 6, 2017 Author Posted April 6, 2017 (edited) But it is, installed the modpack several times and the logs will be deleted, used the last log before trying. Edited April 6, 2017 by Battlenat0r Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted April 6, 2017 Administrator Posted April 6, 2017 I know why I had this impression, one of files critical to me is outdated: _Aslains_Installer_Options.inf Could you remove this file, reinstall the modpack and attach it again? Quote
Battlenat0r Posted April 6, 2017 Author Posted April 6, 2017 So here is the reinstalled with the newly logs. But the mod still doesn't work. Aslains_WoWs_Logs.zip Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted April 6, 2017 Administrator Posted April 6, 2017 Have you removed _Aslains_Installer_Options.inf ? It's still the same file in logs. Quote
Battlenat0r Posted April 6, 2017 Author Posted April 6, 2017 No. Shouldn't have to remove it when I do a clean install of the modpack. Deleting the file, didn't help at all.. and the game or the settings from the mod didn't create another _Aslains_Installer_Options.inf Either the installer is messed up or the mod is broken. Because there is no Damage Log working in the new patch. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted April 6, 2017 Administrator Posted April 6, 2017 I need updated version of this file, when checking your problem. If you don't remove it, and provide new version I won't be able to check it for you. Quote
Battlenat0r Posted April 6, 2017 Author Posted April 6, 2017 Did remove it, but as I said.. the game, the mods or whatever didn't create a new _Aslains_Installer_Options.inf. Which is not my problem, did do a clean install, deleted cache. Did try ProShips and WG MOdpack, they doesn't display the Damage log either in-game. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted April 6, 2017 Administrator Posted April 6, 2017 That's weird, because installer is always creating this file on installation, and placing it in destination folder. Well ok, I will re-click all mods using comp list on this time. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted April 6, 2017 Administrator Posted April 6, 2017 Must be local issue, I see everything as I should, installed same mods: 1 Quote
Battlenat0r Posted April 6, 2017 Author Posted April 6, 2017 hm... odd, remove the mods and do integrity check again then.. Quote
Battlenat0r Posted April 6, 2017 Author Posted April 6, 2017 what the crap... removed res and res_mods.. did do a clean install of the modpack, removed cache and still no damage log... Should see the damage caused to ship: 0 at the beginning.. but I don't have it. Quote
Battlenat0r Posted April 6, 2017 Author Posted April 6, 2017 (edited) the clock is working, but not the damage log. Aslain, are you sure that you and I have the same version. That there is no different version from the installer etc? Because if the clock works, so should the damage. Edited April 6, 2017 by Battlenat0r Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted April 6, 2017 Administrator Posted April 6, 2017 Yeah I'm pretty sure, it also works from 3rd party modpacks like proships. You mentioned you cannot make it work there too. That's why it's double weird, and also means it's very local issue. 1 Quote
Battlenat0r Posted April 6, 2017 Author Posted April 6, 2017 Yeah it's weird... Not that I NEED the mod that badly, but worked flawlessly in the previous patch. But yeah.. Quote
Battlenat0r Posted April 6, 2017 Author Posted April 6, 2017 (edited) So needed to edit a lot of stuff for it to work.... Can you check these files Aslain? These edits to these files makes the other version of the damage mod work for me. Added screenshot with these settings, and works now! battle_layout.xml battle_elements.xml USSExpressionsLoader.xml DamageMeter.xml Edited April 6, 2017 by Battlenat0r Quote
