  1. Guess it's a bug caused by WG and not by mods. http://ftr.wot-news.com/2014/11/19/ru-server-0-9-4-2-hotfix-2/
  2. Hi, you can make use of spoilers, in order to shorten long texts (if you like). It's rather simple. You only need to use [ spoiler ] (without spaces) before the text you want to shorten and [ /spoiler ] at the end of it. Not sure where the option for adding pix has gone Just saw that Aslain had to disable some forum features ( http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/948-critical-load-to-the-forums-and-disabled-features/ ) but links you can add properly by making use of the Link button on top of the reply-box as well. Like this: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rtnexl1fzwtkk4x/AABJrekZAOwivQE63pxZsl2ja?dl=0 Not a big deal or anything, it's just so you don't have to post things like that so "awkwardly".
  3. If you don't know it, then you're probably not using it. It's a 3rd party tool from WoTlabs, to upload replays and stuff and it doesn't have anything to do with this mod-pack here (not directly anyway).
  4. Check out this and see if that helps. http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/815-xvm-issue/ If it does, it's what I stated already and not completely fixed for all systems, aparently.
  5. When more than 1 mod isn't working, then it's usually either due to AntiVirus/Firewall/other protection services or due to your language settings. I think though, that the mods were all installed and not blocked. The installer sometimes has issues for people using non-English languages, although Aslain has fixes something regarding this in .27. You could try making sure that keyboard language is set to English, before you run the installer and also set WoT language to English (not sure if that helps though).
  6. Gotcha, sorry for my ignorance. Guess I'm of little help then, regarding more advanced solutions. =P GL though, hope you'll find what you're looking for!
  7. Would be the 3rd time I see this for NA people and one said that it resolved itself (seemed like it was an issue with XVM handling their stats). However, as per XVM site, you should only have to clear xvm file in res_mods (clean install with Aslain's) and then simply Add Client on the XVM page. http://www.koreanrandom.com/forum/topic/19483-network-services-inactive/ The whole activating process seems to be very weird for some people since the changes with Win Chance etc. For me it worked just using Add Client (and restart the game if you had it running during that process), for others they needed to login, click some buttons, logout, login again and repeat or even restart their PC, before they saw changes being applied.
  8. It's probably WoT Tweaker, if you use that. Try without it and watch the replay of that map.
  9. Hi, see if any of that helps: http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/682-xvm-in-game-stats/
  10. Oki, thx for the extra info. Just trying to make sure that it's the right place for you to get the help you need. Did you try out if they are displayed with vanilla WoT and only disappear after adding mods?
  11. I suppose that you checked if it's displayed without using mods and it was displayed before you added any mods, right? If you didn't, then you should do that and see if it's related to mods in the first place. In case the logo isn't displayed, even without any mods, then it's an "issue" with WG itself. Is it a new clan? If so, it depends on WG, how fast they add it and display it everywhere, afaik. It's the weekend too. So I guess that it could be, that things like this won't be added right away, when the clan was created only recently.
  12. Since it's in the discussion area, I'd like to discuss. =P I don't really see the practical application of either of these things, so maybe you can elaborate for what you want to use them. Regarding 1., I can only imagine this being useful, if you have like 50 mods from different sources and don't want to rename the folders manually after each patch. The "problem" I see though, is that most mods won't work after a patch anyway and if they are working for it, the folders are usually already renamed by the people providing those mods. If they aren't renamed (and most likely not ready for the new patch), then it shouldn't be too much of an issue to rename like 10 folders from 0.9.x to 0.9.y, IMO (even 10 mods sounds a bit much, since Aslain's already provides more than enough mods). As for 2., you can simply setup your own folder(s), starting with res_mods > version/xvm > subfolders > final files you want to replace. Then you simply copy the main folder, paste it into the main WoT directory and all files, at the end of your folder-trees, can be replaced when asked for it. The same thing can be accomplished by using the custom-mod feature of the installer, which replaces the files automatically each time you run it.
  13. Yes it is, was discovered a few versions ago. Not sure which one it is though. =/
  14. Seems like 16 hangar mod is causing this, so try out if not using it helps. http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/710-10-28-2014-through-10-30-2014-versions/
  15. I would try to not use "Tank directions on minimap" mod and see if that's causing it (since it's one of the more recently added mods and you have it installed).

If you want to edit sound files yourself, go from there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccSsMLAYNns For some stuff it's rather simple and for other things, it can be complicated (depending on how much you try/can understand things). Keep in mind though, that this seems to have a shelf life as well, since WG announced to possibly change the whole sound stuff in the future. http://ftr.wot-news.com/2014/10/16/new-sound-engine-no-sound-mods/
  17. See if not using 16 hangar mod does change anything for you (use installer again and untick it).
  18. My guess for "oak_fuzz" would be the 16 hangar mod. Try not using that and see how it goes. Not sure if redrum uses it as well but it also sounds like the issue with TeamSpeak, where you can't enter battles, if you press the push-to-talk button during loading screen. Avoid doing this (if you're doing it) and see how it goes. Report back, if none of this concerns you or if it actually did.
  19. So here's what I'd do, probably: If you play tiers 1-3 and you already have a crew of the same kind (TD), just put your good crew into those tanks and play at 75% without retraining the crew (with all skills/perks) for those few games; shouldn't be too many matches, as exp required (for the next tank tier) is rather low. Tier 4, I find tricky, as the exp required, for the next tank, varies. If you need rather huge amounts of exp (and maybe can use a 2nd TD crew), then you could just start a new crew and start training them for another higher tier tank (but it's usually not worth it). Tier 5 is normally when I start keeping the crews, as the exp, for the next tanks, is almost always rather high (so you will get the crew to 100% before you can unlock tier 6). That'd be a good place to start training a new (TD) crew, either for keeping a good low-tier tank or even to retrain it later for a higher tier tank instead. While not having skills/perks sucks, you always have to consider that the majority of lower tier players are sitting in the same boat as you do; except, that they lack the experience of a couple thousand games. Which means that, if you know a little bit how to play, then the lack of 6th sense and such shouldn't matter too much. You don't have to be OP at those tiers and only camping with your camo/situational awareness/6th sense crew can be rather boring as well. Not to mention that you're practically only taking advantage of people who don't even know how to use the WASD keys, read the minimap or have a crew beyond 100% yet. So, take it easy on the retraining and focus more on having fun and organize your crews, so that they will benefit you in the future, rather than for those few low tier games. =)
  20. Yup, it's a way to remove credits from the economy (which is good for the economy, so inflation won't happen as quickly/at all; but it's certainly annoying for people not running a premium account and/or not being unicum = aka. not having many credits to spend). It's normal behavior though and one has to live with it. All it needs is some more planning and you should be fine-ish. =)
  21. If you always use the same locale and it works, then nothing should have changed. What I'm refering to is situations where you're like: - start PC and have Asian language active > download installer and run it > get problems - write in Asian forums or send an Email (using Asian language) > download installer and run it > get problems And things like that. Some people don't always pay attention to the language that's active and run the installer with a foreign keyboard layout (which has different symbols, that are written into the installed files, making the files and therefore the mods useless). It's only an idea of what could cause multiple mods not working suddenly. So you should just check it out and if that's not the problem, then Aslain might have to take a closer look at it.
  22. It might be an issue with locales (different OS/keyboard languages). If you do use multiple ones, please try running the installer while having the English keyboard active.
  23. No problem, I'm glad that you found what you were looking for (even if it's not 100% as you'd like it to be). The more you play the tanks though, the more you'll get used to how long it roughly takes anyway. Happy tanking. =)
