  1. The mod was updated at some point, and things changed... One of the old tags doesn't work anymore, from what I could gather from the config... You can try going into it, and changing, switchOnHold="false" to true. (Or maybe it's the active part... I'm not sure tbh.) \res_mods\0.6.7.0\alt_minimap\settings.xml
  2. Many people grind a skill like repair or camo, and once at 100%, switch to a skill that requires 100% to work, such as Brothers in Arms.
  3. .wotmod stays as .wotmod, don't extract it. Place it in the proper folder. (World of Tanks\mods\version\)
  4. I don't know that mod, so... does it come as a zip file, or as a .wotmod? If it's .wotmod, then it goes into \World of Tanks\mods\ If it's zip file, extract it as the folder structure inside the zip should show.
  5. One thread should be enough, when you add pretty much the same text..
  6. It is in the latest modpack. Just above the chat mods section.
  7. Could be any one of the servers your connection passes through, that slows it down. Not really something you just go fixing or speeding up. Just try again some other time, or if you have the option, try using a proxy or vpn. That's about all I can tell you.
  8. You can use "version" folder name... without the numbers. Name it "version"..... If you're manually entering the actual numbers, no wonder you're complaining about it, hehe added 1 minute later WoWs custom folder text file doesn't mention it I think, but the WoT one does: For example: res_mods\version\gui\.... instead of res_mods\0.9.14\gui\
  9. That's what the whole "VERSION" folder is for... so installer can put it properly. It needs it. Is it really such a big problem to create one folder extra?
  10. 1: Pretty sure all computers, by default, without needing extra programs, can make zip files. 2: How would it then know to put the files in the correct folders...
  11. Look in your download folder? That's where it would be, unless you deleted it yourself again. If you deleted it, redownload the installer. It'll remember your selections.
  12. Those shouldn't be showing, hmm... I'll move your post to bug report section, could you attach log files to the thread?
  13. There could be a routing issue somewhere. Remember, your connection passes through many servers, between you, and the point you download from. Any one of those points could be having issues, and causing slowdowns in download speed.
  14. You run the installer again Unselect the unwanted mod And install using the clean install option (which should always be used anyways) And jobs done
  15. One guess would be that your antivirus software is killing the "isslideshow.dll" file, for whatever reason. Windows Defender? Or something else?
  16. Mod is better still. And it's quite optional. Noone is forcing you to use it
  17. Top right corner. Click the little lock that you clicked to begin with, which locked your gold and/or free xp.
  18. I'm fairly sure that the default free xp to crew xp is 5x - but I'd have to check to make sure Though going by this: "You will need roughly 84,072 exp from 80% to 95% of First skill" It seems about right. Since your screenshot is saying 16734 xp x 5 = 83670 So all should be good with your crew xp And thank you Though usually it's Aslain that catches it first, when things needs to be moderated
  19. Roughly going by your statement, your crewmember got around 4125-4228 xp. Remember there's a 5x multipler on free xp to crew xp (unless event with 10x) And 825 difference in the free xp requirement, would match that quite well. Spending 825 free xp on the crew member, would have given him what you gained in the battle. Another edit: And remember crew xp is quite exponential in growth. Primary training is 105k xp First skill is 210k xp Second skill is 420k xp Third is 840k xp And so forth.. doubling with every skill. Fun fact, the time it takes you to get first + second skill to 100%, is the same time you'll spend for this....: "You will need roughly 611,195 exp from 99% to 100% of Seventh skill"
  20. Look for the mods that are marked as changing your language. (YasenKrasen text extension, for example...)
  21. That mod has a LOT of files, and it's quite well packaged. It takes a lot of time to unpack/extract, depending on your computer.
  22. YasenKrasen is, by default, setup to only include RANDOM BATTLES, and nothing else.
