Latest patch for WOWS 0.5.0: AVG says has a Trojan
MGIMATTY replied to alexf's topic in Issues & bug reporting
False positive -
I'd suggest you do not use the preview window until a scaling fix is implemented. Somehow it goes out of bounds. Current version should work fine if you don't use the preview window. Also: the link you attached is for World of Tanks.

I take it you have a resolution above 1920*1080?

Okay so this is a problem I've seen before. I have no clue on what is causing the issue but I'll try and see if I can dig something up. In the meantime I'd suggest you don't use the preview window.

New Hangar mod "Beppim's Point Of View Impossible Hangars"
MGIMATTY replied to Esmiley's topic in Request a mod
Inclusion of mods in the modpack is not up to me. Aslain is the man you'll need to speak to. It is possible OM did some coding of their own to make it compatible but I wouldn't know. -
It could be related aye. Though these calculations are done with form dimensions and not monitor dimensions most of the time. I think only the form placement is done using monitor dimensions.
-
I have been fiddling around with a virtual display setup to test this but I'm not sure why the buttons disappear for you as they are still visible on the virtual display. Do you use a multiple monitor set-up or a multiple split monitor set-up (e.g 2 displays share one res.)?

I'll have to agree with norton here. chocolate-milk.biz sounds sketchy to say the least. If you're experiencing problems either try the direct link or the other mirror.

Latest patch for WOWS 0.5.0: AVG says has a Trojan
MGIMATTY replied to alexf's topic in Issues & bug reporting
I have AVG too but there are no notifications on my end with the specified mod pack. Edit: As of 15:00 I'm also getting the trojan notification. Only happens to the WoWs one and not the WoT one. Any clues on this aslain? -
First of all what mod are we talking about and secondly I'd like to apologize on behalf of all of us here.

New Hangar mod "Beppim's Point Of View Impossible Hangars"
MGIMATTY replied to Esmiley's topic in Request a mod
It has now been transferred to the correct section. You had this posted in the World of Warships section ;) As for the request itself: I'd suggest you look for a version that works with 9.10 and post a link to it here. Makes work a lot easier for Aslain ;) -
New Hangar mod "Beppim's Point Of View Impossible Hangars"
MGIMATTY replied to Esmiley's topic in Request a mod
Wrong section. Please check where you're posting in the future :) Also this pack is labeled 0.9.6 which is not the current version. -
I somehow find the suggestion offensive to the whole of the real gaming community

Yes, yes, I've been a bit slower than usual but here's the Dutch update nl_translation_4.6.7-12-Sep-2015.rar -
Mod that records how much the enemy has spent trying to kill you
MGIMATTY replied to xTheButcherPete's topic in Request a mod
Somehow I would find it amusing to know all this. -

Virus Total Pinged Trojan in 4.6.4?
MGIMATTY replied to EveryCitizen's topic in Issues & bug reporting
Basically it comes down to a bad detection algorithm. 1/55 is nothing to worry about. -
You'll have to attach the logs in order to do anything.

I've seen this issue before. Aslain will surely have a fix available for you, but I currently have no clue ;)

First up a server load excuse is only an excuse when there is no load to the server at all. As a webhosting provider I can tell you that load balancing is always an issue whether we (the providers) or you (the users) like it or not. A lot of money and technical expertise is involved if you need to deal with these types of loads. As money issues and freeware usually go hand in hand, it is kind of obvious that 1 DLC server can't handle the immense amount of requests sent by hundred thousands of users simultaneously all requesting large files. There is also a window in which the server tries to recover from these immense loads. There are ways to get the download speed back up but there are NOT free of charge. The ones that are however, mean that the hosting provider would have to bounce all incoming connections when a set limit is reached. Furthermore you can never tell which version will be the most demanded one by the masses. Some people wait for a certain mod to be re-included in the modpack, which causes a higher load than usual in return. There is no such thing as a version that should be downloading slower than the other. I hope to not have offended anyone but in my opinion these kinds of remarks show a lack of technical insight, which causes me to get annoyed with people who clearly have no idea what on earth they are talking about or don't even bother to think. PS Keep them downvotes coming imgurians :')

After 24 hours this feature will be unlocked for you as you need at least one post and a one day old account.

Install mods without closing game?
MGIMATTY replied to Shadow_Snatcher's topic in General Discussion
This statement is correct. All mods are loaded during the initialisation of the game. This is the moment when the game checks if everything it needs is there and if there are any changes to the existing game files. -
Mod pack won't apply itself to the game
