Error trying to run mod pack.

I tried to DL from link 3 first, then link 2.

You have to disable all antiviruses to run that.

Thanks! It worked. Funny I've been using the same antivirus for 10 yrs and the mod pack for 7 and never had to disable it.

Me too. It is something wrong about this modpack that windows doesn't want to accept but it is easy to get around. I hope that modpack is working fine for you.

I get this when it starts to install.  Retry doesn't fix it.

 

EDIT: Just went into my Task manager and closed a whole stack of multiple processes that were running.  When I then ran the install again, it went very quickly through, too quick.  When I opened WoT, it had the Aslains logo, but the mods weren't there.

It's your pc problem.

 

Try to restart it. Delete contents of mods and res_mods folder manualy and reinstall if no help.

I tried ProvoBob way to fix the file as well. I got error, I disabled Avast after reading Crimson's post and was able to run the mod pack with no problems. I tried to reboot the PC, and still failed and also downloaded all links. After I finished successfully installing mod pack I noticed notifications in Avast saying it had halted installing.  Avast updated yesterday and I'm blaming the AV. :)  Note: the troubleshooter in Window did not fix it, disabling AV did.
