Python Error

AS per my message on WGMODS, this error has been present for me siince I did a clean install on a virgin system.

Several permissions denied for various config files, among those is the two mods giving errors.

So something on your system is probably blocking access to the config files?

I've never had an issue with Eset blocking python files before so I don't see why it would start now..

IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: './mods/configs/yk-stats/data/wn8exp.json'
IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: './mods/configs/yk-stats/data/xte.json'
IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: './mods/configs/mods_gui/i18n/en.json'

 

Those are among the errors I am refering to which probably means something is blocking it, or permissions for the folder is wonky.

yeah, bit strange, never had a perms issue like that before...

Reinstall the modpack with admin rights, then play it with admin as well.

That's resolved the issue but it's never happened before, why the change?

No changes like that has been done to the modpack, whatever was happening, is on your end

which is weird in and of itself as this is a standard installation...
