xXShArKXx Posted February 21, 2023 Author Posted February 21, 2023 This is leading to a number of errors, ket me know if you need me to liste the ones i have noticed Aslains_WoT_Logs.zip Quote
Moderator Quaksen Posted February 21, 2023 Moderator Posted February 21, 2023 Have a look at your anti-virus software, maybe it stopped the file or deleted it for some reason? SED is used to edit config files to match your selections, it's a "text editor", basically. Quote
xXShArKXx Posted February 21, 2023 Author Posted February 21, 2023 ok, but it has never done that before. Not sure what to look fore Quote
Moderator Quaksen Posted February 21, 2023 Moderator Posted February 21, 2023 Could try restarting your computer and running modpack. But look for "SED" mentioned in your antivirus - maybe it stopped or deleted SED due to the way it edits the config files. Quote
xXShArKXx Posted February 21, 2023 Author Posted February 21, 2023 It does not look like my anti-virus has blocked anything Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted February 21, 2023 Administrator Posted February 21, 2023 It's certainly caused by your PC. Either your AV or lack of admin priviledges when installing. Quote
xXShArKXx Posted February 21, 2023 Author Posted February 21, 2023 I disabled my AV, then i downloaded the Zip again and ran it as admin. I still get the same error. i get to this stage: compleating installation Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted February 21, 2023 Administrator Posted February 21, 2023 Have you tried to run it on the actuall admin account, or on normal account using "run as admin" feature? Try to do everything on the actuall admin account, and without right click and run as admin feature. btw. Sometimes it takes long time to finish installation, especially when you are slow pc and a lot of large mods selected. Give it some time to finish (unpack all 7zips). Quote
xXShArKXx Posted February 21, 2023 Author Posted February 21, 2023 well, my PC is not slow 😉 But you were right, AV wanted to block a file. I found it after a reboot. working now but maybe you can help with another question? I seem to have selected some conflicting mods: my in-game screen looks like this: on the enemy side Quote
