topper6 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Hello. I would like to request a search window in the WoT Aslain installer so that I can search for a keyword for instance. For example if I had a search window in the installer i could type "fog" and get all matching results in the installer. Perhaps it's not possible, but I would really like to see that option. Best regards, Henrik. Quote
Moderator Quaksen Posted February 9 Moderator Posted February 9 Requested a 1000 times, but not possible in the current software. Might never happen. You can open Aslain's folder in your World of Tanks folder. You can find "Components_List.txt" there. You can search in that. Position in that matches modpack. So you can match position of the 'scroll bar' on the right side. Quote

Avec112 Posted June 10 Posted June 10 I do not find searching inside previous version components_list.txt to be very good. Usually I am looking for new mods that just have been added and I really struggle to find them. While the software might not support searching I think one way could be to support search from within the forum. A link inside Aslains tool opening a page referencing the latest release with all it's mods in the same order (components_list.txt). That way we can do a search and pinpoint where to find the mod inside the installer. Quote

You already have what you're asking for, right on your own computer! 😛 > Start the latest modpack > Soon as the modpack is on the modlist... > A fresh Components_List.txt is created! > Voila! 🙂 Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted June 10 Administrator Posted June 10 New mods comes with a mod number, open preview window where you can see that number in the bottom left corner after clicking on component. Quote
Avec112 Posted July 1 Posted July 1 Thanks to both. While not intuitive for most, it works when you just know how to. Quote
