Every MOD which give you an advantage against the enemy is illegal, for example reload timer, penetrate areas, views in minimap etc. which are already in this MOD........same as the lasers..... so.... bubs79 Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) 3 hours ago, Tw0t3n said: Every MOD which give you an advantage against the enemy is illegal, for example reload timer, penetrate areas, views in minimap etc. which are already in this MOD........same as the lasers..... so.... the reload timer cant be illegal though to be honest , as all its showing what everyone really knows . for example if u have an oi and r facing an oi then enemy shoots u , u will know the reload time any way as u are using the oi yourself. all its doing is putting the info u already know in front of u in the game. u cud have all reload times written down on a piece of paper etc. one thing to note the reload timer only starts counting when you r hit. example if an arty has a 30 sec reload and you r at either end of map travel of shell is 3 seconds , when arty hits u timer will say 30 secs but in reality its 27 secs, yes u may argue it gives massive advantage over others but in reality the info Is already in the game by your own knowledge. this is the same as the penetration and weak spots mods , all the info about each tank is available on wg forums and wiki laser pointer however is a massive advantage and is deemed illegal , heres an example why . u r heading towards a rock or a building the tank is hidden from view so u don't know what way it is pointing , u have to decide what way u go round hoping u guess the correct way and go round the rear of him avoiding taking a shot and shooting him , if u guess wrong and go round the front of him u take a shot or end up dead , with the laser u know instantly what direction he is aiming at , so u don't have to guess what way to go. this is the same as the minimap tank view mod illegal too . I'm wondering do the reload timers take into account the equipment, crew skills, and consumables or are they just using a generic 100% crew for the timer? Quote

Doesn't take into account all sorts of stuff, just base reload I think. Can probably be setup to just assume everyone uses maxed everything. It'll never be 100% accurate in any case. Quote

bubs79 Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 I am not sure on this as many times ive faced enemys seen the reload time and only a few times ive seen them shoot when there is 1 second left but there is no guarantee that it is perfectly accurate adjust to equipment etc it is a good mod as it does help u out on deciding when its safe to attck or sneak out Quote
