tsdeane Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 height of gui is so tall i cannot see the buttons on my screen. cannot move it on top as it is off of the screen as well. i have to guess how many times to use the tab key to get out of the gui or complete installation. i fail 90% of the time to get response desired. gui height needs to be reduced to 75% of what is is now. Administrator Aslain Posted September 21, 2016 Administrator Posted September 21, 2016 You mean the installers gui? What is your desktop resolution, the installer support 720+ only. Quote
tsdeane Posted September 21, 2016 Author Posted September 21, 2016 the installer gui with the preview is the error.. i have 1920x1080 Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted September 22, 2016 Administrator Posted September 22, 2016 For a starter, try with 1 rowed taskbar. Installer is not supporting anything more than 1. Quote
tsdeane Posted September 23, 2016 Author Posted September 23, 2016 without preview/description panel i have this. Quote
CaptainJuiceBox Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) Hello, I have had this happen to me as well in preview mode. (I use 1080p) Instead of hitting Tab to try to get to the correct button. You can just hit the Enter key after selecting what you want to go to the next step and Escape key to go back or to quit the install completely. Edited September 23, 2016 by CaptainJuiceBox Quote

CaptainJuiceBox Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) No, just a single row. My installer dose look exactly like to pics above though. This is mine even with the task bar set to auto hide. Edited September 23, 2016 by CaptainJuiceBox Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted September 23, 2016 Administrator Posted September 23, 2016 Yeah temporary solution for you is not to use picture preview. Quote
CaptainJuiceBox Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 True, but as I said above I have always just hit the enter key after choosing my options and have had no problems installing everything. Quote
MGIMATTY Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Could you guys check if you are on 100% DPI (a higher setting could also cause this) Quote
CaptainJuiceBox Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 A little late, but I checked and it was a scaling issue for me at least. After changing the DPI back to 100% from 175% (I have no idea why it was that high) the installer would resize correctly. Thanks and keep up the great work! 1 Quote

(At that point, you should be seeing a page called Customize your display, it should be Display selected in the left side.. and in the main screen, you should be seeing, amongst other things, a slider called "Change the size of text, apps and other items") Quote
tsdeane Posted October 4, 2016 Author Posted October 4, 2016 changed that and yes it makes it fit but everything is now in .7pico type size. aging eyes makes that hard windows default is 125%. resets it to that on major upgrades and to graphic upgrades. Quote
