deifyer Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Ever since patch 9.4 and throughout all your modpack versions reload timers on different sights sometimes stop working properly. Currently with 4.0.20 i'm using Taipan's sights and occasionally the timer starts showing random values, in example i have just fired with 10 sec. reload, timer counts down to 8 and then shows i'm reloaded but in fact i have 8 seconds to go. Or when playing arty and shooting, 30 sec. to count down, timer reaches 15 and starts from the beginning again.Have noticed these things with different pack versions and with meltymaps, deegies, damocles and taipan's sights.I do clean installs, and have also tried cleaning mod cache and wot cache as well. _Aslain_logs.zip python.log 1 1 Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted November 23, 2014 Administrator Posted November 23, 2014 I have no influence on this, it's either bugged sights.pyc or WG bug. So now you can wait... maybe one day someone will fix it, or don't use custom crosshairs. Quote
ragequits Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Yep this is a continual problem having to do with Wargaming's worthless Python scripting I think. I've been having it happen as well. I'm having lots of trouble with custom crosshairs from Aslain's pack too, so I might stop using it. Quote

If its something on WG's end switching modpack wont help you since most custom sights seem to be affected. Temporary solution(at least for me) is to switch camera mode between sniper and arcade when the counter gets stuck, this way the sight starts working again properly. A little inconvenient and bad solution for arties, but helps when you really need to see that time. Quote
cobrazax Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 i have the same problem, and it doesnt happen without reticle mod. plz check if it can be fixed as its going crazy in almost every battle. i dont think its a difficult bug to fix...if the mod owner knows about it and tries to fix it Quote

Sykotic Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Using v.4.1.15 and I have noticed that from .14 to .15 I no longer have a reload timer. I am using Dellux sights along with Server-side Reticle. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted January 5, 2015 Administrator Posted January 5, 2015 Ok that's it, I will try to not use Prosights script, it has this fugly alert window in garage and bugging some crosshairs. But that means we have to stick to sights.pyc, which is not perfect atm. Quote
machine_GER Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 hi aslain, have you viewed the mod made by Kriegstreiber ?he offers his zoommod now separate from mjölnir... >> http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/455130-095-kt-extended-zoom-mod-v1063-02012015-arcade-stretegic-sniper-pov-system-balcalc-aas/ Quote

machine_GER Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 okay... thought it might help you, because he no longer uses the Sights.pyc Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted January 5, 2015 Administrator Posted January 5, 2015 okay... thought it might help you, because he no longer uses the Sights.pyc Yeah, I think it's because he somehow managed to include it in swf, I will test. Quote
