v3.8.18 (22-08-2014): - the problem you might experience, like crashing for no reason, is caused by WG minipatch that was applied yesterday - we need a new ModSettingsAPI mod - installing anything will apply a fix to res/scripts/ - temporary updated ModSettingsAPI with some older but working version

This is a confirmed fix for me. Thanks to everyone scrambling to get this resolved. Aslains is well worth it!

The NA script file worked for me,... redid the Aslain mod with the V1, deactivated and reactivated XVM on their site, and now everything is back to normal....THANKS!!

Does this folder allow you to use the game with Aslain's modpack, or just simply allow you to play the vanilla game without reinstalling?

Hi res\scripts files from clean install worked fine. Tanks to Somtaaw. Only thing, u have to go to XVM site and dé-activate account and re-activate it (not only prolong). Then XVM works again. Tanks a lot for this post.

Hey! It WORKED for me! I renamed the folder: World_of_Tanks\res\scripts to: World_of_Tanks\res\scripts_old Then I opened Newbie's res_scripts_NA (posted at 10:34 a.m. today) using 7-zip (my preference) so I could see the "scripts" folder, left-click/dragged the "scripts" folder up into the folder World_of_Tanks\res That created the folder/path World_of_Tanks\res\scripts I started WoT and did NOT see the "incorrect password" problem - went into the garage properly! Then I exited WoT and re-started (to see if yesterday's issue with the 3.8.17 modpack disappeared) - it was successful as well! I did NOT do a full re-install of WoT. Thank you NEWBIE for the scripts folder!!! Thank YOU for doing that full re-install and posting back here!!!

ok - will remove game - re-download for fresh install - then do the V1 hot fix. If someone has not posted will up load the res/scrips folder of the clean install from the NA server prior to applying the mod pack. Take care

This is just yet another hp bars, it's not live, nothing special in those, but I had plans to add it so don't worry.

I had the same issue, i had play all the day without problems by hours, and when i quit the game and next reconnected, just after click "Play" at launcher, the game dissappears. I solved it running my earlier ".15" version and now the game runs normally all the times when i log in.

Yes there are, I can even add it. I can display 4 different icons for marks 0,1,2,3 (only for spotted vehicles) The problem is I have never seen any mark on my tanks, even on tanks with 1k+ battles played. I don't know why.... maybe I have to earn them or ..... ?

v3.8.17 (21-08-2014): - updated Spotmessanger 22 (also added new options) - added squad and tier number section - added squad number option to the OTM - changed the 11 colors rating scale by Aslain (white color to dark-red)

Found the problem, I had japanese for my system local set and this was changing the \ in the config files to a kanji char.

All fine now since Ver. 3.8.16 :) Great work
