Could you try another browser, or try turning off whatever you have that might be blocking javascript?
I see some ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT in your screenshot too.
If a mod goes missing from the modpack, it's in majority cases because there's no update for it. It might be dropped by the mod author, but I don't know that.
Could be your anti-virus made an update, that suddenly gets triggered by those patch files. They're harmless, and used to make tweaks to text files, for example.

Could be overly aggressive anti-virus not liking those two files.
They're crucial for the installation to be properly done.
Try temporarily disabling your anti-virus while doing the installation, and see if that helps any.
That would be XVM, with XMQP enabled. So pretty sure you just need to enable XMQP on the http://www.modxvm.com/en/ website.
Only others with XMQP enabled will be able to see it.
They aren't doing anything you aren't already informed about, or able to turn off... it's just people exaggerating and blowing it up
