    Since I make some configuration changes to mods or xvm installed with the installer, I use and really like the ability to use the Aslains Custom Mods folder to automatically make these changes for me each time I install the modpack. But all of the changes I make are no longer confined to the "World_of_Tanks>res_mods" folder. Some mods are installed to the "World_of_Tanks>mods" folder which is outside the "World_of_Tanks>mods"res_mods" folder and changes can't be installed automatically with each install but must be either reconfigured manually each time, or a saved file with changes can be copied from another folder and pasted manually. Is it possible to include "World_of_Tanks>mods" folder in "Aslains_Custom_Mods"?

    I have had the same issue here on the EU servers and I don't think it is a mod causing it. I had the problem very soon after WG released 9.20 and before version 09 of the modpack. But, I haven't had the problem regularly but very sporadically. Maybe once every 50-75 battles or so. There are some reports of this on the EU forums, so it may be a bug in the game client.

    try removing your Battle Results Window v3 by Frost. added 2 minutes later yep....Ragnoracek's also causes the same problem

    Even though you are the admin, Windows UAC (User Account Control) has some control over what it allows the admin account to install. You can right click on the file you wish to install and choose "run as admin" to bypass UAC. Often, problems such as yours are solved by doing this. Hope it helps you.

    When you select a "Selected Tank Highlighter" in the "Multi Tank Carousel by XVM" the client gets stuck at Updating Vehicle. I have included my logs in case there is a conflict with something else in my configuration. Everything works perfectly without Tank Highligher selected. Blue was the only color tested.     Your logs are probably going to be needed to figure out a problem for your solution. For information on the logs etc, click the link in my signature below. There are a few possible explanations/solutions and the logs very well might provide the solution quickly.

    that is strange that they locked your thread when you didn't do anything at all bad. I have noticed that sometimes the people there are not the most helpful in the world....basically the opposite of this forum. It could be a language/cultural problem. You didn't ask for help or ask a question. You stated what was not working for you and maybe they interpreted that only as someone complaining about something. Sort of like the Seinfeld episode with the Soup Nazi..... No help for you!!!!

    But it is a problem that your local machine is having with xvm. I am also Windows 10 64 bit and use XVM without a hitch. Your problem is very strange indeed.     The program is designed to find and remove versions installed in the game client WorldOfTanks . It allows you to find all the third-party files that are connected to the client and delete them automatically, after making a backup if needed. Functionality of the program includes:

    • Search for files in the "mods"  and "res_mods"  client folders ( the Internal mods )
    • Analysis and File Recovery "paths.xml" , the definition of third-party links to files and folders in it ( the External mods )
    • Advanced Search extraneous files in the directory " WorldOfTanks \ of res" by downloading and analyzing data with WG update server ( the External mods )
    • Clearing the cache in the game directory  "Wargaming.net \ WorldOfTanks \" ( the Cache-folder )
    • Search and delete log -files ( Logs-files )
    • Find and delete screenshots ( Screenshots-files is )
    • Find and delete replays ( Wotreplays-files is )
    • Creating a zip -arhiva's backup with
    • Running the client verification through the launcher, if necessary

    To work with the program is sufficient to put exe -file in the root of the game client (folder "WorldOfTanks \" ), and then run it. The program automatically analyzes the game client and displays a list of files and mods that can be removed. Remove them, close the program, you're done.

     

    Also, to simplify the task of the desired folder, you can simply move the mouse in any running program file from the root directory of the game. The program itself will determine it the right way ....

    • The program has been tested for compatibility with the game and test ( CT ) clients
    • Loading data from the update server WG only last for the current version of the game, if the client's version of the old, the data in the analysis do not participate
    • Advanced analysis of the client files of the game with the identification of all foreign mods ( the External mods ) is only available when you download the actual data from the update server WG
    • The program does not completely clears the entire catalog of the game client files from strangers, it focuses primarily on the detection and removal of those files, and modifications that are downloaded or can be downloaded by the client of the game, and thus affect its performance and efficiency

    Thanks for the compliment. It made me smile since I only pretend in forums to know stuff about computers.... I am currently on my third computer since 1998.....lol. But now that I think about it, because I keep computers for so long, I have always had to "redneck engineer" my stuff to keep them going so maybe I have learned a little bit over the years. To be honest, I only know just enough to mess things up really royally sometimes....haha. But I can use Google....

    Recently, I decided to start using small repair kits instead of large kits. I have Auto Aim + configured, via the installer, to use small repair kits when I press T. But, it doesnt work. I have checked the json file and everything looks to be correct, so either there is a problem with the mod (I doubt that) or something funky in my settings or user error I dont have the T key assigned to anything in my client settings...could this be the problem? Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Do you mean that you missed an absurd number of shots? If so, that is not a fault of the crosshair. But, it is possible that you could be having server lag issues. If so, you might help your situation by selecting "Enable Server Reticle" in the game settings under the General Tab. If your problem is something other than missing shots then please provide a screenshot if possible and most importantly, provide the requested logs. For more info see the link below in my signature.

    The same folder is "read only" on my Windows 10 machine, and I can change the permissions of that folder. And the installer runs perfectly for me and installs everything despite the folder being "read only". So, the problem must be elsewhere. Check the thread linked below. Maybe the information there will help you. This problem happens with a very, very small percentage of modpack users from time to time. It is often Windows User Account Control (UAC) which is trying to protect your pc even though it doesnt need protecting at the moment.

    I have noticed that sometimes with updates, client updates from WG and/or a newer version of XVM, that some settings get changed. I know that these changes are not a result of the modpack and they dont happen very often. And sometimes, I probably made the change by accident and didn't realize it.... Glad I was able to help sort it out for you.

    I don't know about the icons not showing up in game, but I may be able to help with the missing tanks. Sounds like the missing tank may have been set to reserve. If so, you can go into the filters panel and select to show reserve tanks and only tanks with a reserve label will be visible in the garage carousel. This filter button is under the "Special" section and is the very last button. Once the tank is visible in the carousel, you can right click on the tank in the carousel and uncheck the reserve label. I hope this solves your problem.

    I suspect a problem with your current installation of WoT. It seems to be a local issue on your machine/with your setup based on the fact that others aren't reporting the same problem. Maybe something got changed in your registry etc and made things wonky. I suggest reinstalling WoT and see if that corrects your problem. Good luck.

    The highest number is always the correct one...right? To add to the confusion, vBaddict has some problems with something too. According to them I have played my BC 155 58 in over 126 million battles. I am Darth Clicker....the biggest clicker in the game probably, but even I haven't clicked that much.
