Interface2037 Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 I've encountered an annoying issue. After about 10-15 battles the game lags every 60 seconds, it's not ping issue. To make it disappear I have to restart the client. Any ideas? I've checked the logs but can't find anything out of the ordinary. Quote

dalibor_lazarevic_37 Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 ok i install again aslain and edit same and remove.. Quote
Interface2037 Posted March 19, 2019 Author Posted March 19, 2019 I've tried disabling several mods to no avail, i strongly suspect the Day After Day sound mod. Haven't uninstalled that one yet. Quote
hia1thealt Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 I've been experiencing this for some time now and I don't think it's always related to mods. Sure, they sometimes affect what is going on, but I finally bit the bullet and ran this clean. Same issue with no mods. All my drivers are updated and I did a fresh install of WOT as well. I believe this is a Wargaming issue for some of the lag/fps drops. There can be no other explanation. And it started happening with 1.0. 1 Quote
Interface2037 Posted March 22, 2019 Author Posted March 22, 2019 I’ve tried running without mods and the lags are still present so it’s definitely on WG’s end. Quote
m0nstertr4x Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Look into programs running in the background, perhaps you're downloading updates etc or syncing stuff. Perhaps your email client running in the background? Quote
hia1thealt Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Who knows. Crapped out my computer after a driver install hung, so installed fresh copy of Windows 10. Will test with mods soon to see if that cleared anything up. Fortuitous timing, I guess. :) 1 Quote
Interface2037 Posted March 30, 2019 Author Posted March 30, 2019 I’ve tried everything, running basically mod free and these lags still occur. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted March 30, 2019 Administrator Posted March 30, 2019 I experience the same. Without mods as well. Try this https://eu.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wot/article/10252/ Quote

Try this https://eu.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wot/article/10252/ Thanks i will check it out and get back to you. And unfortunately it didn’t show any irregularities. It seems less frequent on EU2. Perhaps you can try it as well? Edited April 1, 2019 by Interface2037 Quote
m0nstertr4x Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 This is the same tool but shows things more simple.. i'm guessing you are having packet-loss time to time. https://sourceforge.net/projects/winmtr/ Just leave it running while you are playing.. Another thing to consider is if other people/devices are using your network? Someone browsing an image heavy website or YT etc can easily cause lags if its spiking your bandwidth. 1 Quote

I’ll check this tool! The problem is that you can set your clock after these lags, always after 10-12 battles. Always the same. But if Aslain has it too im certain he will find a fix, if it is mod related. Quote
m0nstertr4x Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Hope you get some insight, perhaps post the logs as well :) HOW TO REPORT A BUG OR ISSUE 1 Quote

I have had it too without mods, so it's not mods related. It's the connection. There was one day last week I couldn't play at all. Huge like spikes etc. You should have report it to WG using the guide I posted you. 1 Quote

Interface2037 Posted April 5, 2019 Author Posted April 5, 2019 Unfortunately the logs doesn’t show any irregularities. So I guess I have to restart the client every 10 games :) Quote
Interface2037 Posted April 27, 2019 Author Posted April 27, 2019 I just wanted to update you that in spite of a completely new computer, clean install etc this issue is still present. Too bad, quite annoying.... Quote
