Angel Wings Over Destroyed Tanks can't be turned off.

I don't have any of the boxes checked for anything to be displayed when tanks are destroyed, but the angel wings appear.  Was the same before the last update.

Well the Angel Wings are displayed by default, even if you don't select them. Therefore you need to decide on what type of floating damage things you want to see, select them in the installer.

Who would I contact to request a "Nothing" option?  Just odd they get displayed even without the check box selected next to "Floating markings of destroyed vehicles".

Just make more choices, when it comes to XVM if you select not enough options you will get default XVM. If you select it like this you will see the numbers only:

Hi Carnage!

 

Do it like this...when you finish installing mod pack, go to C or D or whatever you have installed the game, then go like this:

 

World_of_Tanks/res_mods/configs/xvm/Aslain/icons

 

then mark the enemy and ally wings icons and delete....that will solve the problem, I'm doing like that every time and they not showing it anymore...

Thanks, I'll try that next time I decide to try the xvm markers/icons.  Stopped using it since I couldn't shut them off with only the stuff I wanted selected.

Trust me, if you do like I described they are gone...just mark these, delete and they are gone :)

Hello,

Same issue for a few days.

Used the info provided by Casstiel and instead of deleting I changed the picture of the wings.

 

All is good now.
