[ZJ] Marker Re-Load Trial Period?

Hey Aslain, super mod pack.  Beats all the rest.  But I'm getting a notice that the [ZJ] Marker Re-Load v0.9.8 biuild 067 Demo is at an end of trial period on 30-June-2015.  Says to update the package.  What's the story on this?

I read on another site the guy makes his mod this way on purpose..to force updates or something..not sure his full reasoning but can't fix until he updates with a new "timer"

ZorroJan, the mod author, has extended it, but the forum, that has the download, requires you to have posted and what not, so not everyone can download it. Hopefully someone will get it soon :)

It would be hard to post 30 posts that quick especially in another language haha..

 

I wonder if Aslain has access there or how he gets it.

 

I guess the mod creator wants money or something..

Alternative that is working is the Walhalla OTM Reload:

Remember to go into it's .xml file, and adjust settings to fit your needs.

 

(The only things I changed on that uploaded version, compared to the originally downloaded one, is repack as ZIP, and changed the version from 0.9.8 to 0.9.8.1 in the res_mods folder, so it's easier to get installed out of the box :) )

Yeah, just copy/paste it.

 

When it asks if you want to overwrite init.pyc and cameranode.pyc, you can click no to those 2, if you're already using Aslains modpack. (Though I don't think overwriting them will hurt any mods? I'm no expert on that though :) )

What's this one look like compared to the other?  I made 10 posts on those forums...but need 30 + 5 thanks...but at least at some point I will have access lol.

Guys - I am sure you know that this Mod also the walhalla is going into the direction of Game-Cheats.

OK - it shows only the reload, but a skilled Player see if he can attack the other one without to can be treatened back by that Attack afterwards...

Atm WG tolerate this Mod....so use on your own Risk - just for info...

Yeah, I read a post on official forums about this not being illegal.  Since it doesn't take into account rammers and other such things and is only a base count..

 

I would consider myself an averagely skilled player, and yeah I can see/hear a gun fire but the problem is when fighting a bunch of tanks at once, with my old brain, it can be hard to keep up.  The OTM Timer really helps..lol  :)

It would be nice if there was a reload timer in the mod pack that worked.

Try reading this thread for very reason why the mod stopped working..plus this happens once a month with this mod developer..

Not to mention, by the time Farwalker posted, it was already updated in the modpack :P

Its working again, but for some reason, the range on which enemies that are counting down seems to be way way less, I used to be able to see reload times of far away enemies by zooming in near their nameplate, now, unless they're within like 200m of me, I can't see reloads. Any ideas?

 

EDIT: more accurately, it seems like there are games where it works great, and then games where it really doesn't want to work and only shows reloads very rarely
