Uninstalled Aslain#03 > no disconnect, I was able to play a game

Reinstalled Aslain#03 > same error

my clan mate often has the same issue
we tried to pinpoint the exact cause for a while without any succes, often a pc restart did help.

wg also made a topic about it, what you could try out.
 clan mate did not want to go this far, he just wanted to play after work.

it worked 2 hours before, I upgraded to Aslain#03 ... and tried to play 2 hours later.

No change in firewall or whatsoever.... not even shutdown the PC
....and the Steam version keep  working!



UPDATES

Copying the Steam Eu dir over the WotEu normal didnt solved the issue-

I suppose there can be a Registry issues, no idea how it was generated.

I used a Restore point of two days ago.... same error.

NEXT STEP
I will uninstall the Normal game using IObit Uninstaller, and reinstall it. >> check the game
then install Aslain#last without my config>> check the game
then Load my saved Inf  >> check the game

and Report back my finding

( I keep the Aslain.inf in a separate directory for backup )

Short update

Uninstalling I've found THREE WOT

The first is the Steam version
The last one is the normal WotEu


But the middle one has no references !!!

I'm uninstalling the last two ... and report back

Make sure you are using the latest modpack #03, it has the latest version of Expected Vehicle Values.

i have excactly same problem... have reinstalled wot (tested and works fine) and then redone mods and when restarted, it goes  back to a short time  and it disconnects , generally it when i pick  another item , like depot, garage etc

Not all disconnections are caused by mentioned mod, and I dont know what you have installed and whats in your logs, so please attach logs. XVM is also causing disconnections/interruptions when their server is affected by issues, and they are currently experiencing problems with their server...

I have NOT touched anything, for what I know.
Downloaded and updated #03... 

Uninstalled WOT, cleared the full dir E:/Games/ wot 

I'm reinstalling from fresh NOW.
Let's see what happens.

You have to manually delete files in this path in red, the modpack is not touching RES folder it's too dangerous. Delete E:\Games\World_of_Tanks_EU\res\scripts

In any case two hours ago I cleaned the marked Dir,  What you see below it's now the new WOT installing.

and the RES is clean, I suppose.

Having same issue.  Tried rolling back to #00 but it didn't fix the issue.  The game works for me in safe (vanilla) mode, or if I temporarily disable (rename) this folder:  res_mods/mods/xfw_packages, which then, I can play with some non-xvm mods running.

Renaming the "res_mods/mods/xfw_packages"  file did the trick for me too. Otherwise, after about 45 seconds it would disconnect from the server.

So you basically crippled the XVM, without that folder it will not work properly. It's safer to just delete contents of mods\1.14.0.5\com.modxvm.xfw\ for the time being or don't install XVM.

 

As for the OP, the XVM server is currently under maintaince, it's malfunctioning or something and it may cause interruptions due to this.

A) No, no need to delete. If need arise, you can just drop the BOP extension 😄
