Immediate Game Crash

I first updated WOT and everything worked fine. I then downloaded the modpack and tried it. The game crashed immediately at start, like when trying to play a replay now. Very quickly the screen went white and then disappeared.

I removed the modpack and opened WOT without a problem.

Yeah both my folders were still in the res mod folder.. i moved everything to 0.4.1 and launched and it stuck loading.. So ill wait and see.. Shouldnt take him long to fix

Hey guys, sometimes when there is an update to the game and you try and install mods, you may have to uninstall the game entirely and reinstall from scratch. THEN, reinstall the mods after the fresh install has finished. I have had this problem in the past, but luckily not this time around.

I am getting this problem as well. Game loads and works fine without the mod pack but when I install the mod pack the game crashes as it is loading. I did a clean install as per recommendations on this site.

I was able to fix it for myself. My fix was to add the missing Awesomium direct in to \res. I had to do it for 9.9 and looking in python.log I was seeing the following line that tipped me off:

INFO: [PY_DEBUG] Could not load awesomium library C:/Games/World of Tanks/res_mods/0.9.10/awesomium/awesomium.dll

I am seeing the same problem. After clicking on PLAY in the WOT Launcher screen I get a white screen for a few seconds while loading then I get CTD.

No problem with standard WoT, only when I load Modpack. I tried to reduce options as much as possible but still no luck.

i resolve the issue by change settings at "SELECT COMPONENTS" from custom to Recommended XVM + modpack choices (Aslains Setup)

I do, but mine isn't disabled, I can actually click it, I asked a friend and he could not click it.

on 4.6.0... disabled auto log-in and pw save box... and it worked... will try 4.6.1

update:

installed 4.6.1 with auto log-in and pw box on and the result is ctd... tried disabling both and no ctd...

4.6.1 working for me also with PW box and autologin unticked.....................which is a bummer on the Asia server, as I only play from home and it annoys the crap outta me having to type password and email everytime.

credit's not on me as i have seen that suggestion (auto log-in disabled) earlier on WoT forum (can't remember the exact site if it's the official NA or EU WoT forum) as I was looking for fix/es for ctd on aslain's 9.10 modpack...

I think this happened back on 7.??? also, eventually it was fixed, but not sure if I had to re-download the whole WOT package or not that time.

I can onyl disable auto login. PW is not selectable!?. But also doenst help.
