XVM hit log not selected in installer, yet it still shows up?

I did not choose the XVM hitlog in the installer.  Yer the XVM hitlog keeps showing up in game.  I went to hitLog.xc and changed the line to say "enabled": false yet it still shows up.

 

I also tried uninstalling the mod pack and reinstalling the mod pack and got the same results.  The other hit log, the Multi Hit Log shows up correctly on the top right of the screen.

 

How do I disable the XVM hitlog?

I think it's in battleLabelTemplates that you need to turn it false.

Thanks.  That disabled the hitlog.  These 9.15.1 changes are confusing.

You are using default XVM, and it has hitlog enabled by default. No wonders here
