What processes continue AFTER pressing the "Finish" button?

What processes continue AFTER pressing the "Finish" button? I'm guessing that you are clearing out the installer files, creating your logs, backing up the installed selections, etc. It seems to take a while for the installer to close after choosing "finish." Is the installer finished modifying the game files before the "finish" box pops up?

 

I guess my real question is, can I begin opening the game as soon as I click on "finish," or do I need to wait until the installer closes?

You need to wait until the installer is gone from your task bar at the bottom

 

The various processes that run after clicking finish, are the "finishing up" stuff, such as moving files into the proper folders, since most DLC's use the "version" macro, and then gets placed into the proper version number folder.

ive noticed that if u  install white dead tanks  the nstaller takes much much longer to finish , up to about  2 mins ,

even takes a while for installer to extract the files.

do u have white dead tank installed?

White Dead Skins are super ultra compressed, it may take time to unpack them.
