Removal of XVM

As the topic says. WG are actually going to remove XVM from the game. Like hide you stats and nickname. I guess that will be a game changer.

So in other words - they will hide statistics - they will not remove XVM.

XVM is a modification as a whole.

 

They are removing statistics from being displayed. Totally different.

pros?=ppl can stop crying about xvm statistics/ratings
cons?=you won't be able to spot bots instantly

that sums it up...XVM as "extended visualization mod" will still be around.

True but you won’t have the ability to make XVM make the Win chance prognosis anymore if some or even all players are hiding your stats.

Also, hiding your nickname would be like fighting bots. A lot of the competition part of WoT will die. Just think about all pro players who have WN8 as an important thing to measure progress in the game.

XVM is the ENTIRE mod.

WN8 is one tiny thing that is part of it.

Win chance is a number that is pure guess work.

 

Stating they are removing XVM is a really false statement - when they are removing like 1% of the mod's features (display of statistics)

 

Besides

Just because they remove display of stats and names ingame - does not change the fact that you can still see your own stats.

Example: World of Warships.

 

There's no "competition" in random battles anyways. LOL.

 

And battle reports are still very much likely to show everyones names - how else would you get in touch with people.

That's why they are doing it ... so we can't tell the matches are so poorly matched up, and so we can't see the bots so quickly.

I personally think they should take stats out of the game completely, period.  They serve no purpose than for some to shame others.  WG doesn't use the stats to make for a better game and they will always have their internal stats.  There is no reason for the rest of us to see other player's stats.
