Moderator Quaksen Posted August 1 Moderator Share Posted August 1 Probably a false positive? Hard to tell really, since your image shows no info.. Quote Link to comment
Moderator Theolitius Posted August 1 Moderator Share Posted August 1 as Quaksen said and if you really want to check you can always upload it on here to compare it with multiple databases https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload Quote Link to comment
Administrator Aslain Posted August 1 Administrator Share Posted August 1 What they said. Most likely it's a false-positive, but if you don't trust it, submit it to yout AV makers, so they can check this. Quote Link to comment

Administrator Aslain Posted August 3 Administrator Share Posted August 3 Sed is safe the same as my installer, please submit it to your AV makers not me, I cannot do anything about it as the problem is not on my side. Quote Link to comment
Weedmon
I had the problem with my av, too. Deactivate the AV or create an exception in your AV für this Installer and it works fine. Quote Link to comment
Phil_301
Hello, the exe file "Aslains Modpack Installer" refuses to run. This is the first time this has happened. I don't know how to fix this problem. All other install files on my computer work perfectly. Quote Link to comment
Moderator Quaksen Posted August 14 Moderator Share Posted August 14 Try re-downloading the modpack Or check if your antivirus software just dislikes the currently released file enough that it blocks it from running I get the usual Windows message complaining, and run anyway, and it started just fine here Quote Link to comment
Phil_301
Hello and thank you for this quick response. I tried to download again, my antivirus allows the action, unfortunately nothing works properly. Quote Link to comment
Moderator Quaksen Posted August 14 Moderator Share Posted August 14 😞 I'm not sure what to suggest looking at besides the already mentioned.. When you double click it, nothing happens? Quote Link to comment
Phil_301
Il y a le petit cercle Windows qui tourne pendant deux ou trois secondes et puis plus rien ne se passe. C'est très surprenant car le fichier .exe de l'ancienne version s'ouvre parfaitement. Edited August 14 by Phil_301 Quote Link to comment
Phil_301
il y a 27 minutes, Phil_301 a dit : There is the little Windows circle that spins for two or three seconds and then nothing happens. This is very surprising because the .exe file of the old version opens perfectly. Quote Link to comment
Moderator Theolitius Posted August 14 Moderator Share Posted August 14 if your AV allows it, maybe lack of admin rights is the issue, would be odd since the other versions are still working. Quote Link to comment
Phil_301
Now I just have to wait for the next version, hoping it works. Thank you very much for trying to help me. Quote Link to comment
Administrator Aslain Posted August 15 Administrator Share Posted August 15 Sounds like a false-positive. Quote Link to comment
Winterburn
Logs and screenshot attached. Not sure what mod it affects or if it's important, filename is CCAtlas.exe Thanks for taking a look! Aslains_WoT_Logs.zip Quote Link to comment
Moderator Quaksen Posted August 16 Moderator Share Posted August 16 The CCAtlas is for fiddling with the 'atlas' files World of Tanks uses for icon locations, yours is probably related to colored minimap coordinates, or maybe something else too. Quote Link to comment
Administrator Aslain Posted August 17 Administrator Share Posted August 17 CCAtlas is required to install certain mod, it's safe to use. Quote Link to comment
Phil_301
I was able to run the new version of the modpack installer without any problems. Thank you Quote Link to comment
Phil_301
Version 1.25.1.1_05 has just arrived and for this one, I can't run the .exe file. This is very strange, I can only run one version out of two. Quote Link to comment

Winterburn
What mods actually depend on this file? I'd be happier making some changes to my config rather than installing it. Paranoia? Perhaps... Quote Link to comment

Colored minimap coordinates, like I said this exe is safe I wouldnt include anything dangerous or anything that could harm users PC in the modpack, but of course you can do whatever you feels like to. Phil_301
I uninstalled Aslain and all its directories and reinstalled, everything works fine. Quote Link to comment
