That's a WoT setting. "Restrict toggling the Sniper mode to the Shift key" Horizontal stabilization is a WoT setting too... I wonder if that matters then if you changed that file and it worked, hmm.

The logs are more important for you to include. See the link in my signature, or the sticky thread in this Issues & bug reporting section. I believe Aslain asked for logs too in the Wargaming forum thread where you posted this as well.

Something is stopping your download before it's complete. Both of those file sizes are incomplete. It should be 105 MB. (108,081 KB) Just downloaded from each of the EU mirrors, and both files are the same, and working. You're asking for the impossible, I think Hehe. The markers, no matter how little is selected, is part of XVM, and thus uses XVM's OTM system.

You can get the contour icons just fine without XVM, but then you'll lose some of the things you want on the player panels, which are features from XVM. The HP bars, for example, or the spotted marker. Not sure what all the XVM crap is you mean... the medium panel has the same things as shown in your screenshot. Name and contour icon.

In your logs, you have several panels selected from XVM.. so yes, you need to check the XVM option as contour installation mode.
